Our strategic affiliation with the Library Publishing Coalition (LPC) strengthens our collaboration with libraries offering journal publishing services.
The LPC is an independent member-based association made up of a network of 80 libraries offering publishing support programs in the United States and Canada. Its members are substantially engaged with the library and publishing communities.
LPC’s activities aim to contribute to the development of best practices and the sharing of expertise, notably through the organization of an annual conference, webinars, and working groups with its members. In 2022-2023, Érudit participated, through Coalition Publica, in LPC’s working group on community development in Canada. This group identified areas of common interest for our organizations and communities.
The LPC Strategic Affiliates Program brings together peer organizations united by shared values and working in the same direction to support equitable publishing for all. This no-cost initiative aims to foster North American collaboration between libraries and other stakeholders in the scholarly publishing community.
Our profile on the LPC website invites members to discover our services and resources that may be useful to them, such as our research notes, recent webinars and metadata guides. Read our profile.
We look forward to sharing our efforts and expertise to advance diamond open access publishing supported by the research community.
