Mission, Vision and Values

In collaboration with a network of partners in Québec, Canada and abroad, we are working to establish a unique and innovative model to widen access to knowledge and to support bibliodiversity.

Dedicated to open knowledge.

Our mission is to support open digital publishing and research in the arts, humanities, and social sciences.

Érudit is both a key dissemination platform nation- and worldwide as well as a unique technological and service infrastructure.

Érudit is a Pan-Canadian interuniversity consortium comprised of Université de Montréal, Université Laval, and Université du Québec à Montréal. We are funded by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture, and as of 2014, we are recognized as a major scientific initiative by the Canada Foundation for Innovation.

Our values have stayed the same for many years and are in line with those shared by
our partners such as the Public Knowledge Project and the Université de Montréal. They guide our day-to-day work both in our daily operations and in our relationships with our partners.
