Professor Vincent Larivière has been acting as Érudit’s scientific director since April 2015. As such, Prof. Larivière takes part in planning Érudit’s main strategic approaches and acts as a spokesperson for the organization in the academic community. He also contributes to the conversation around the issues that affect scholarly journals, namely open access and support to the French-language dissemination of research results.
Érudit is a consortium comprised of three Canadian universities: Université de Montréal, Université Laval, and Université du Québec à Montréal. It is governed by representatives from the research, university library, and scholarly publishing sectors.
