New Version of the Guide on Metadata in OJS

One of the goals of Coalition Publica, our partnership with the Public Knowledge Project, is to support Canadian scholarly journals disseminated on the erudit.org platform that use Open Journal Systems (OJS).

For a majority of these journals, articles are integrated into erudit.org thanks to a connection between their OJS installation and Érudit, which enables our team to process content more quickly by using the metadata from OJS.

To help further improve this process, the Coalition Publica team launched a new version of its guide Preparing quality metadata in OJS. This publication, available in English and French, aims to clarify Érudit’s requirements and facilitate understanding of best practices for providing high-quality metadata in OJS.

Although this guide replaces the first version dating from 2021, it does not introduce any new requirements. We hope it will make it easier for journals involved in Coalition Publica to find answers to their questions, and that it will also help libraries in their collaboration with them.
