We are pleased to present this report of our activities during 2023-2024.
This year’s accomplishments confirmed the essential role that our infrastructure plays in the scholarly publishing ecosystem. They are the fruit of our combined efforts to build a truly open, fair, and diversified environment.
This success rests on several ongoing strategic projects, such as the implementation of persistent identifiers, indexation into the DOAJ and, especially, the promotion of open access. The question of diamond open access found its way into our various meetings and discussions all through the year.
We would also like to take the opportunity to thank the three partner universities in the Érudit Consortium, the journal teams, university libraries and granting agencies, the Fonds de recherche du Québec, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and the Canada Foundation for Innovation, and all our valued partners.
