We are pleased to present this report of our activities during 2024-2025.
Throughout the year, we continued our efforts to build a truly open, fair, and diversified scholarly publishing environment. These commitments were reinforced by the signing of the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information and the release of a Statement on Diamond Open Access alongside the Public Knowledge Project, as part of our Coalition Publica partnership.
Among the highlights of the year was the five-year renewal of the Partnership for Open Access (POA) with the Canadian Research Knowledge Network, with 2024 also marking the 10th anniversary of this agreement. In addition, our Research and Innovation team developed an evolving directory of Canadian scholarly journals, which generated considerable interest among research communities and university libraries.
We would also like to take the opportunity to thank the three partner universities in the Érudit Consortium (Université de Montréal, Université du Québec à Montréal and Université Laval), the journal teams, university libraries and granting agencies, the Fonds de recherche du Québec, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and the Canada Foundation for Innovation, as well as all our valued partners for their support throughout this year.
